What MatterFlow Legal does

MatterFlow Legal helps law firms send engagement letters and automatically move clients into a structured matter pipeline.

It is designed to streamline intake, engagement delivery, e-signature collection, and client progression from first contact to executed engagement.

Step 1 — Complete Firm Setup

Go to Settings → Firm Settings.

Add your firm name, attorney name, notification email, and attorney signature.

These details appear on engagement letters sent to clients.

Step 2 — Upload Firm Branding (Optional)

You can customize engagement letters with your firm branding.

Upload your firm logo and attorney signature.

Transparent PNG signatures work best for a cleaner executed document.

Step 3 — Upload a Custom Engagement Template (Optional)

If your firm already uses a standard engagement letter, you can upload it in Firm Settings.

MatterFlow Legal supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, and HTML templates.

If no custom template is uploaded, MatterFlow Legal uses the default template.

Step 4 — Add Your First Client

Go to your client workflow area and create your first client record.

Enter the client name, client email, matter type, and any related matter details your workflow requires.

Save the client record so you can begin intake or engagement delivery.

Step 5 — Send the Engagement Letter

From the client record, click Generate Engagement.

MatterFlow Legal creates the engagement letter, emails it to the client for signature, and tracks signing status.

Step 6 — Client Signs

When the client signs, the engagement letter becomes locked, the engagement is marked as executed, and the client moves forward in the pipeline.

At that point, the matter is ready for your firm’s next operational step.
